Use of Chrome has overtaken Safari for the first time in the US, new data from StatCounter revealed today. As of last week, Google's browser now has 8.97 percent of web traffic, just edging out Apple's 8.88 percent. Internet Explorer and Firefox were both flat at 52 and 28.45 percent each.
