The always vocal RED founder, Jim Jannard, has responded to a thread on a RED-devoted forum regarding DSLR cameras with HD recording capabilities. He opines that current consumer-level DSLRs from the likes on Nikon and Canon, will eventually bring 4K resolution video recording to their products. Jannard says his company wants to be the best, not the biggest, which is why it will bring ever-higher quality and resolutions to its products.
