In spite of Apple's claims about the the glass in the iPhone 4, it may actually be more prone to breaking than that in previous models, says repair outfit iFixYouri. Apple uses special aluminosilicate glass on both the front and the back of the device, allegedly "20 times stiffer and 30 times harder than plastic." Based on a test of a complete iPhone 4 minus the actual circuit board, though, iFixYouri notes that it is possible to shatter the glass with a short drop.
