The major emphasis of Steve Jobs' June 7th WWDC keynote will on new iPhone hardware, but it could also include two other important announcements, says Kaufman Bros. analyst Shaw Wu. Sources allege that the prototype iPhone details leaked a month ago are close to those of the final device, for which Wu argues evidence is also mounting of a near-future release. Carriers are believed to be letting old inventory purge, while Walmart has dropped the price of an iPhone 3GS to as little as $97. Apple has stopped selling the iPhone 3G online.
