HP showed some hints of slower growth this evening in its results for the spring quarter. The company's PC shipments were up 20 percent year-over-year and were high enough for HP to keep its top spot in the computer market but were a noticeable slowdown from a winter, when the PCs delivered were up 26 percent. Most of the revenue increase came unexpectedly from desktops, which earned 27 percent more where revenue from notebooks only grew 17 percent.
