The Audiophilleo1 has just launched as an advanced USB to S/PDIF transport. The device is said to be a true replacement for a fully-featured CD receiver with an optical output and can handle audio files up to 192KHz/24-bit quality. To this end, it carries ultra-low jitter, 12V triggers for powering connected amplifiers, a digital volume control and BitPerfect software for testing audio data stream accuracy.
