Intel is planning a second significant update to its ultra-low voltage mobile chips besides what's on schedule for the summer, according to leaks. Besides the 1.33GHz Core i7 slated for the summer, a 1.46GHz Core i7, the 680UM, is also now believed due for the fall. The chip would still have the same 18W thermal peak power but would clock up to 2.53GHz in Turbo Boost mode.
