An independent developer has allegedly created new graphics technology, known as Unlimited Detail, that is claimed to produce high-quality content without specialized hardware, according to a Wired report. Bruce Dell, the Australian hobbyist behind the project, suggests the voxel-based system allows basic computers to quickly render scenes.
