Apple is likely to report sales of 2.9 million Macs and 10 million iPods in its second-quarter results, says Piper Jaffray's Gene Munster. The analyst cites new NPD figures, which suggest at least 2.8 million Macs, making for an increase of about 25 percent year-over-year. The growth could be closer to 31 percent if Apple does especially well, says Munster.
