The headliner would likely be aimed at the Canon EOS 7D and would have 39 autofocusing points, sitting it directly between the 11-point D90 and the 51-point D300s. While unnamed by the Nikon Rumors contact, it would be the first video-capable Nikon DSLR to shoot at 1080p, albeit at 24FPS versus Canon's 30.
