After Apple released new MacBook Pro notebooks Tuesday the company announced the new portables feature Audio out over the Mini DisplayPort connection. While may not have plans for its own branded adapters to provide HDMI with audio, Dr. Bott has announced its Mini Display Port to HDMI Adapter II. The adapter supports the new audio-out capabilities of 2010 MacBook Pros and supports HDCP copy protection, allowing a MacBook Pro to connect to an HDTV via its HDMI port. the adapter is plug-and-play -- it does not require use of a driver and does not require a restart.
