Use of the term "pad" in an app's main title text belongs to Apple, claims CEO Steve Jobs. journalPad developer Chris Ostmo notes that on Monday he sent e-mail directly to Jobs, complaining about an App Store notice informing him that he had to change the name of journalPad and its sister app journalPad Bible Edition. "This ruling came about only after we had two apps live in the App Store and had spent tens of thousands of dollars in marketing and getting our apps media exposure," Ostmo's message reads.
