Adobe has posted an early release candidate for Flash Player 10.1, the next major version of its multipurpose browser plugin. The v10.1 platform enables several key features for Flash, including hardware acceleration and multi-touch gestures. Changes to the release candidate concentrate almost exclusively on bugfixes, such as problems with Mac OS X Snow Leopard.
