Late into the slew of iPad app introductions today, Amazon today released the iPad-optimized Kindle 2.0 app (free, App Store). The new version still works on the iPhone but scales up to the larger size of Apple's tablet, with more books viewable while browsing and more text visible at once. It still syncs position with Kindle apps on other platforms and allows creating notes or highlights.
