Red founder Jim Jannard announced on the Red User forum that a working model of the long awaited and delayed EPIC camera will be displayed at the NAB show in mid April. The high-end camera, according to specs first released nearly two years ago, is expected to be capable of capturing images at near 5K resolution thanks to a full-frame sensor the same size as traditional 35mm film while still retaining the benefits of a digital sensor.
