Any possible Verizon iPhone would be much more likely to damage Android sales at the carrier than BlackBerry, Kaufman Bros. analyst Shaw Wu told investors today. He suspects that Apple might target Verizon just to undermine Google and that the search firm, HTC and Motorola would suffer the most with an iPhone on the same network. Since Android most directly echoes the Apple model, the actual device would be more appealing to those who consider Android a "mediocre imitation," Wu said.
