In its MIX10 presentation this week, Microsoft took a quirky approach to demonstrating the ease of coding for Windows Phone 7 Series. The company showed us a T-shirt-firing bot by the name of Betty, which wouldn't have raised many eyebrows but for the fact that its full set of controls -- steering, aiming and shooting -- were being handled by a WP7S app. The code monkeys behind the project are now back with a full breakdown of how things were achieved -- the bot was built on a standard battle-bot chassis, which was then modded with the cannons and an HP Envy laptop
