iSuppli has issued its pre-release estimate for the component costs of parts used in Apple’s iPad, suggesting Apple has some room to manouver when it comes to the cost of the product.Apple may pay as little as $219.35 for the new tablet's parts, the researchers said. They cite components will include a multi-touch screen that costs around $80 and a $17 processor (design: Apple, manufacture: Samsung).With the lowest price iPad reaching market for $499, iSuppli’s estimates suggest Apple management has plenty of scope to reduce prices in order to stimulate demand.
