Apple has posted Aluminum Keyboard Firmware Update 1.1, a new support download for Mac owners. The patch is meant exclusively for wired and wireless Apple keyboards from 2007, but for wireless models fixes bad battery performance, associated with using other Bluetooth devices like the Magic Mouse. Some complaints have mentioned keyboard battery life shrinking to as little as a week.
