Wi-Fire 2.0 software ships for Mac, better UI, 1,000-ft WiFi range

hField Technologies has introduced Wi-Fire 2.0 software for Mac, which now runs from the Mac's Menu Bar, just like AirPort, for a more Apple-friendly feeling. Pertinent details about WiFi connections around you - and you'll see plenty with the Wi-Fire - are revealed in the new GUI interface, which is easily launched from the Menu Extra.
