Many of those who have one of the latest models of the iPod Nano have tested at least once the function making it possible to mark a piece of music that is playing on the radio in order to send it to iTunes and thus enable the function to find and to buy it. An identical function will be available next year on the radios of the Ford vehicles. It will be possible to mark up to 100 pieces in the car radio. Then, when an iPod is connected, the data will be transferred and the user will be able to find these pieces that he thought worthy of interest during his travels. This is a god send for Apple which will be able to further develop the sales through its iTunes Store. We wonder whether Ford will get a commission. During this very difficult time for the American car market, it would not be surprising, and any income would be welcome.
