Two problems have been reported on the new iMac 27". The first one is the broken glass plate installed on front of the LCD display, affecting iMac powered by Core i5/i7. According to our source, this problem has been fixed at the production level and should not happen anymore. The second one is the random and annoying flashing/flickering issue of the LED backlighting. So far, it does not seem that Apple found a solution. According to Computerword, some resellers report that Apple can not give clear and definitive shipping date for any ordered 27" iMac.
