First sale figures for Windows 7 indicate that the new OS is selling well, definitely a good point for Microsoft. When comparing figures between Windows 7 and Vista, the company records + 234% higher volume sales; however, one should not forget that Vista was the worst selling OS made by Microsoft. IT might look completely different if we would compare it to XP or Win98, especially if we take into account the number of active computer. If Microsoft is celebrating and trying to make a buzz about it, Pc manufacturers are not as happy as Redmond's giant.
