Google Chrome has been updated to version 4.0.237.0 for all platforms, according to Anthony Laforge, Google Chrome program manager, who writes on the related blog. As the company continues to stress development of the Mac version following Google CEO Eric Schmidt’s hint the new Mac browser would ship by Christmas, it’s interesting that Laforge mentions just a single change for the Mac version of the browser - “significant bookmark bar improvements”.Could this mean the Mac version is inching towards a stable build? Laforge confirms “the focus on this release has been feature polish, stability improvement, and extensions work.”
