Both Apple and Psystar have filed separate motions, requesting a summary judgement from Judge William Alsup in a San Francisco court, says AppleInsider. The two hearings are both set for November 12th, the outcome of which could determine whether the trial will take place in January. Apple has asked Alsup rule that Psystar infringed on its copyrights and violated the Digital Millennium Copyright Act by selling third-party machines that run Mac OS X. Apple believes the company has violated laws by circumventing it's operating system's disc protection methods.
