Intel won this battle (for the moment) and NVIDIA has to stop developing chipset for the forthcoming platform. The GeForce 9400M will not have successor (dedicated to Nehalem) till things change. This is of course not a technical problem, but as Intel refused to license to NVIDIA the required technology for the Nehalem, only Intel chipset will be available for OEM and/or users.
It implies that we will see the Intel graphical chipset successor of the GMA 950 back in our MacBook. Even though Intel massively improved it, it will most likely not reach the performance level of the NVIDIA GF9400M so Apple will be forced to had a dedicated GPU in future MacBooks. Indeed, one would not understand that new models will not support Open CL
