The application Blackberry Desktop Manager should be released tomorrow according to the last information we obtained.
It will bring extended synchronization option between Mac OS X and RIM Blackberry devices, including address book contents, iCal or even iTunes contents. By releasing this hoe-made application, RIM intends to attack Apple on its field and compete with the iPhone and its ecosystem by bringing a software able to make Blackberry and Mac owners happy and able to get the best from both world. For sure, this is a much smarter and efficient way to compete with Apple than the hack offered by Palm for its Pré.
