Microsoft Offers a Free Antivirus
Microsoft launched yesterday its home-made free antivirus: Security Essentials.
We do not intend to criticize such move, and it is a more concrete move from Microsoft than what has been installed by Apple in Snow Leopard, and could allow BootCamp users to get the minimal level of protection.Of course, companies offering retailed antivirus application will follow performance of Security Essentials, and will most likely heavily comment any failure from the Microsoft solution.
