As we reported it several times in the past few months, after HD TV, manufacturers are trying to promote 3D HD TV as the new ear and a perfect way to make us buying a new TV while the current generation of LCD or LED LCD TV is still evolving/maturing and still have room or improvements. Of course, all manufacturers are trying to develop their own 3D system and expect to see it adopted and becoming the new standard to collect cash from royalties. After having sold its new Stereo 3D for BD system to many Movie Majors (Twentieth Century Fox or Lightstorm Entertainment), Panasonic is now trying to make its format adopted by the BD LA, in charge of the Blu-ray format and standard. The company might have more competitors here, such as Sony and Macrovision, both companies already working on their own 3D rendering system for BD video.
