BooCamp HFS+ Drivers: Potentially Dangerous!?

With Snow Leopard, Apple updated BootCamp to version 3. In addition to new hardware drivers, an expected improvement was the support for HFS+ partition while running Windows: mounting, writing and reading such volumes (similarly to what MacDrive does). However according some of our team members, the reliability of this new function is questionable. If you are used to store applications as an ISO image file, on a large HFS+ partition this could be an issue. Unfortunately because this technique of ISO storage is easy and handy as it lets you save on large HDs dozen of CDs at convenience and quickly accessible. With BootCamp 3, such usage is buggy, and despite being always mounted , the ISO image has either:- corrupted installer- corruption of the installed .exe file- the installation application can be launched or even completed, but the application systematically crashes. After running some test, it turns out that the BootCamp 3 drivers for HFS+ are the faulty guy:
