Google's ChomeOS was announced a few months ago as a mainstream operating system for Netbooks. Today, via Tweet, Google is showing off the first video of the operating system.
The OS is mostly just a log on to Google services (and it looks like it has a touch screen/tablet component to it). Steve Jobs cited growing competition between Google and Apple as reasons why Eric Schmidt had to be removed from the Apple board of directors.
