iPhone 3GS VoiceOver accessibility features can also help with heads up navigation

The iPhone 3GS has some significant Voice Over navigation features built to help the seeing-impaired use the iPhone.  However, we can see this functionality helping anyone who can't look down at their iPhone while they are doing another activity.  Changing a iTunes track while driving, for instance, becomes a lot easier with voice navigation.  Other times when something like this would be useful for the sighted? In classroom setting, or in bed at night?
