Flying Meat has launched Acorn 2.0, an update to its image-editing software. The bitmap-based software uses layers and blending modes to implement photo-editing techniques, allowing for experimentation and easy placement of text and objects, while protecting the image at the base. It has screen shot capabilities, can export images for the web, and has filters with chaining support.
