Apple is buying the entire production to feed the manufacturing of its new iPod Touch and nano models as well as the iPhone.AS a consequence, if Apple managed to negotiate a good price thank to the large volumes purchased, the cost of flash memory modules jumped by 0.5 to 4% depending on their capacity.
