SMobile Systems has released ContactCrypt 1.6, an iPhone app that provides an extra layer of security for sensitive information such as contacts. Unlike apps that simply store passwords, ContactCrypt specifically encrypts contact names, addresses, account numbers, phone numbers, e-mail addresses and more. The app is claimed to prevent unauthorized bypass of the iPhone's breakable encryption method
