As the iPhone-ready sequel to a pair of in-canal earphones we genuinely liked, Maximo's new iP-HS5 ($80) takes the metal and silicone rubber in-canal earpieces from iM-590 and adds an in-line microphone and call/playback control button, plus a number of different packaged accessories: a neck-ready cord, a different carrying case, and adapters for smaller-than-iPhone 2.5mm headphone ports on competing cellular phones.
