Notebook Battery Lifetime: Class Action against Intel

A US citizen decided to initiate a class action against Intel, claiming that the founder is misleading consumers about the battery lifetime of notebook. The plaintiff argues that Intel was using overstated claims regarding battery lifetime, using it as a marketing and selling factors, while not true according to results from MobileMark 2007 benchmarking. This citizen is currently trying to enroll other consumers to get its case evaluated by a court prior being able to launch the legal action.  The point here is that Intel is only providing CPUs and motherboards, and computer companies such as HP, Dell or Apple, are then designing and making notebook models produced, expecting the longest battery lifetime from factors based on optimized system and not necessarily based on a standard and realistic usage. My new MacBook Pro 13", expected to last for 7 hours, could only run for 5 hours because I played with Google SketchUp for 2 hours.
