It is the first step required to potentially see flash storage its produced by this manufacturer included in Apple devices. This news comes almost at the same time than the contract signed between Apple and Toshiba. It seems that Apple is trying to collect s much flash memory providers as possible to prevent any shortage for one of the main component of ipod and iPhone, and notebook too in the future. Apple is probably also trying to save money by putting all flash memory manufacturers in competition, to bring prices down.
