Elixir has released a plug-in for the Apple Safari Internet browser, Thurly. The plug-in is used to shorten URLs and post them on Twitter from within Safari. Using a keyboard shortcut, Thurly automatically shortens the URL of the webpage currently open. Thurly can post the URL directly to the users Twitter account using another keyboard shortcut or by clicking the Tweet button added to the browser
