Nvidia (and those who have a Geforce GTX 285 or Quadro FX 4800) has discovered a major bug with it's recent video cards drivers and the new Mac OS X 10.5.8 kernel. It causes crashes from which is is impossible to escape. It is strongly recommended that those with these cards update their drivers as soon as possible.

We find it strange that Apple did not already discover this problem during the development of 10.5.8. There certainly is the impression that, like software developers, Nvidia finds itself having to manage compatibility with Apple's updates. This is especially true since these new driver
