Tablet Mac Frenzy

Impossible to ignore, all the web is abuzz about the rumor that Apple will be launching a touch screen tablet by October. The product will be their response to the ulta-portable netbooks, but with the Apple flair.  This product will of course be very expensive, around $800, but it will completely drop the keyboard in favor of being completely touch.  Some believe that its processor will not come from Intel, but rather will be the result of the PA Semi acquisition and thus be a ARM product.  In this situation, it would use an operating system somewhere between that of the iPhone and of a Mac, with an experience radically different from the one we are familiar with on our laptops.
