Hitachi jump into the market for 3,5" 2 TB disks

Running behind Western Digital and Seagate, Hitachi should market a 2 TB 3.5" hard drive very soon, the HD32000IDK7. This disk should have first rate performance running at 7200 rpm and with a chache of 32 MB. Its price of $270 is close to the other products of this capacity. The push of SSD disks should encourage the manufacturers of hard disks to start again a battle with the capacity, the weak point of the SSD. According to our information it will be also the case with the 2,5" disks who should quickly reach the 750 GB before passing to TB in the beginning 2010.
