Add Support for MMS on iPhone Edge

When the iPhone OS 3.0 was unveiled, Apple indicated that MMS will not be supported on the iPhone 2G Edge due to hardware limitations. Well, if you have a jailbroken iPhone 2G, it will take you couple of minutes to add MMS support. You simply need to install the application ActivateMMS2G available via Cydia from the repository http://cydia.alpden.com. After rebooting the iPhone, and activating MMS in the preferences, you will see the photo icon displayed in the SMS application. However, be sure to have a compatible subscription plan otherwise sending MMS might become quite expensive.
