It would have taken one month and a half to Seagate to transform its press release into reality and get its 2 TB HD model on the market.
Well, not everywhere of course, and primarily in Japan, priced around 200 Euro. As a reminder, this HD is based on 4 discs of 500 GB each spinning at 5900 rpm, making it a bit faster than its competitor, the Western digital unit spinning at 5400 rpm. With the availability of this model, price should then finally drop, making it even more interesting to purchase an entry level Time Capsule and then upgrade it to 1 or 2 TB.
