Sling Media has released its beta version of SlingPlayer for Mac OS X. Zatz Not Funny notes that the beta SlingPlayer renders video recorded on the Slingbox attached to a users television, enabling streaming over the Internet. The beta is a web browser plug-in for Safari 3 and Firefox 3, but it only works on Intel-based Macs. The software also only supports Slingbox Solo, Pro and Pro-HD models.
