Matching an existing iPhone version, Truphone has released v3.0 of its VoIP software for the iPod touch. Using Wi-Fi, people can make free calls to Skype, Google Talk and other Truphone users, as well as paid calls to landlines and cellphones. Accounts can be topped up without leaving the app, and the cost of a call can be estimated using rates, or calculated exactly once completed.
