Microsoft, always big on little details
Microsoft has unleashed a barrage of PR related to the long-rumored Zune HD, which, as they say, has "everything to go head to head with the iPod touch" (do not ask me why they can't just release something that stands on its own and does not have to be a me-too).
I won't comment on the device itself, but a detail caught my eyes in their press material, ditto this picture (click to enlarge it):
This is a shot of a real Zune HD or else a photorealistic rendering. Anyway, there's something really incredible on the screen Look at the "marketplace" menu entry. Yes, it DOES NOT FIT in the screen, the end of the text is cut off.
Amazing how 1) the programmers/designers can be so lame as to design a home screen menu that does not fit the width of the screen or 2) the advertisin
