To organize files and folders on your disk, you may choose to have the Finder calculate the size of folders on your disk. This can be done by either getting info on a particular folder, or by going to the "Show View Options" in the "View" menu and choosing "Calculate all sizes" with a particular folder open. Sometimes this process can take a long time, especially when using the view options but also in the Get Info window, which is has been frustrating to several users.
