Economic Crisis finally Hits Apple
In a difficult economic environment in USA and worldwide, Apple seemed to be less affected than other companies in the same market. Some data related to sales and published by NPD indicate that the current difficult economic environment started to hit Apple. Mac sales might have decreased by 1.8 % between March and April, almost negligible in volume, however, customers are now selecting entry-level models, those with the smallest margins for Apple. So, the related income might have gone down by 11 % over the same time period.
