Couple of days ago, we were reporting about the potential non-reliability of the sensor originally designed to detect water and installed into iPhone and iPhone Touch models.If apple did not want to officially acknowledge our report, it seems that they are planning to offer a solution to many iPhone owners having defective iPhone and colored sensors while arguing that their handheld did not take a bath. Such users could have the opportunity in the future to have their iPhone exchanged to a new model for 199 USD (fixed price). It is currently not clear if this future offer will be extended to all other countries or remain specific to USA
